Ashé (ah-shay) Davis, also known as “Shay”, is a versatile photographer based in New York and Connecticut. Growing up, she explored various art forms such as dance and music to further express her creativity. With her father documenting her childhood with disposable cameras, it was natural for Ashé to be interested in photography during her exploration. After taking photographs as a hobbyist throughout high school, Ashé prioritized her athletic career and finishing her bachelors degree in 2018. “ShayShotIt” was quickly birthed after the completion of her degree and has not stopped since. Since then, she has specialized in a variety of photography forms such as studio, sports, music, and more. Through the use of her lens, Ashé will continue to emphasize storytelling, promote individuality, and highlight life journeys with each client and shoot at a time.
